We repair and build fences and decks across Marin County. That's all we do, and we've done it here long enough to know which problems are about the fence and which ones are about the ground it's sitting in.
Most of our work is repair. A post gone soft at the base, a gate that stopped latching after a wet winter, a section that came down in a storm. We'd rather reset four posts than sell you a whole new fence line, and we'll tell you straight when a repair isn't worth doing. That costs us jobs sometimes. It also means a lot of our work comes from people who were referred by someone we didn't oversell.
Marin makes this trade harder than it looks. Fog keeps wood damp in Sausalito and Mill Valley for weeks at a stretch, so rot starts at the post base where nobody sees it. Inland in Novato and Fairfax, the summers are dry enough to gray and crack a deck in a single season. Hillside lots need deeper footings than the code minimum because the clay moves under them. A crew that mostly works flat lots learns none of that.
We work in wood, vinyl, chain link, and wrought iron, plus deck repair and new fences and decks permitted to county code. You get a price before the work starts, not after. We clean up before we leave.
Tell us what's going on. If it's a repair, we're usually out within the week.
